When do I pay the 7% service fee?
The service fee is charged when you accept a quote and book a shipment. You'll see the exact fee amount before you confirm, so there are never any surprises.
Are there any monthly or subscription fees?
No. MFX has no monthly fees, no subscription costs, and no minimum commitments. You only pay when you ship.
How are carriers paid?
Carriers can invoice shippers through the MFX platform and accept credit card payments via Stripe Connect, or they may invoice you directly outside of the platform. MFX is 100% free for carriers—they pay nothing to use the platform.
Do carriers pay any fees?
No. MFX is completely free for carriers. There are no listing fees, no subscription fees, and no transaction fees for carriers. Only shippers pay the 7% service fee.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) and offer invoice payment with Net 30 terms for qualified businesses.
Is there insurance included?
All carriers on the MFX platform are required to maintain valid cargo insurance. You can view each carrier's insurance details before booking.
Can I get a refund if my shipment is cancelled?
Yes. If a shipment is cancelled before pickup, you'll receive a full refund. Partial refunds may apply for cancellations after pickup begins, depending on the circumstances.
